wi-Q is a proud sponsor of the Hotel Cateys 2016
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the annual Hotel Catey Awards and we’re delighted to be the category sponsor of the Sustainable Hotel of the Year award.
Taking place on Friday, 25 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, the awards night promises another exciting celebration of the most successful hotels, hoteliers and hotel employees across the UK.
Those who have made the 2016 shortlist have been recognised by the Hotel Cateys judges for making a real difference to their guest experience, setting new benchmarks in what is a fast-evolving industry.
Supporting hotel staff to achieve these goals for their business is something we feel passionate about, which is why we are proud to introduce Mi-Room, our cloud-based mobile ordering technology for guest room services.
Instantly accessed via any internet-enabled mobile device, rather than having to download an app, Mi-Room allows guests to browse your full menu of guest services, place orders and make payment (or charge to room) to enhance their stay. From concierge services to food and beverages and spa treatments, hotels are offering a range of services outside of the hotel room and Mi-Room provides a platform to make them more accessible and profitable.
The categories of the Hotel Cateys are a great example of the diverse team of professionals who contribute to their guests’ experience, from the Hotelier of the Year, Food and Beverage Manager of the Year, Hotel Chef of the Year and Spa Professional of the Year to the Concierge Award, Housekeeper of the Year and, of course, the Sustainable Hotel of the Year. We are particularly proud to sponsor the latter as it takes innovation and dedication from every department of a hotel’s service to make it a sustainable business.
We would like to congratulate all those who have been shortlisted and look forward to celebrating with the winners on the night. Best of luck!
